MONOBLOC WHEELS

     Among other things, VALDUNES BeluX is justly proud of its monobloc wheels. To date, it has produced several hundred thousand of these of all kinds, from the simplest to the most sophisticated , with diameters ranging from 350 to 1250 mm, with curly straight web, precision drilling, etc.

WHEEL WITH TYRES  
  This kind of wheel consist of several elements. The simplest version consist of a central wheel, a tyre, and a retaining ring. It is only possible to assemble these elements using hot shrinking and crimping techniques that have been perfected by VALDUNES BeluX.

  VALDUNES BeluX's axles combine the properties of a virtually infinite range of geometry and shape, that can withstand any test of reliability and safety and can be supplied in quantities from one to several thousand, according to request.

POWER WHEELSETS
  These wheelsets are fitted on traction or automotive equipment. They are supplied in accordance with customer specifications, assembled with brake disks, transmission and bearing for example.

  These are used on trailer wagons. VALDUNES BeluX Produce axles having both simple brakes shoes and trailer axles for high speed trains having a disc brake system which reduce thermal loading on the wheel.

  The assembly of bearings, collars, stays and boxes is a particularly delicate kind of work that numerous customers entrust to VALDUNES BeluX, who have the necessary equipment available to them and personnel that are trained for this meticulous operation. Official approval of the bearing suppliers is always required for this service.

FITTING: A CERTAIN KNOW-HOW...
  Extremely precise pressing is used mount the wheels, brake discs and other accessories to axles. This operation is carried out on hydraulic presses by professionals who have been specially trained in specific operations used in the railway industry. VALDUNES BeluX always include a fitting diagram in its identification documents.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF WHEELSETS
  With its long experience, VALDUNES BeluX is able to carry out maintenance and repair work on any kind of wheelsets. Only true specialists of the kind that VALDUNES BeluX has at its disposal can successfully perform these operation, which call for a thorough knowledge of railway equipment.
